YOGA & MEDITATION​

SPACE T​O HEAL Meditation and Yoga Class
Come explore meditation using breath (pranayama) sound (mantra) and movement (yoga asana) as a way of waking up from thoughts and emotions into what is now and what is real - a personal Sacred Space for healing. Classes start with breath work to calm anxiety, still the mind, allowing us to open up. A yoga sequence, as mediation in action, is a way to understand the mind/body connection, and in time, allows us to see real possibilities for transformation. Sound in the form of self affirming mantras and music help us move from worry, sadness and fear into a place of acceptance and self love.
Classes are offered to help recovery from isolation, drugs and alcohol, and trauma of any type but all are welcome. They are done as a group where we breathe, move, and use our voices together. The goal is to find that place within us where we are in alignment - perfect, whole and complete. Leave with a resource to continue the work between classes. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat and towel.
